These gorgeous paintings by David Mramor are keeping me inspired this gloomy Thursday afternoon. I truly love mixed media work. He starts with a printed canvas and then adds layers of acrylic, oil, pencil, marker... even spray paint.

  1. Oh my gosh, these are stunning! The out-of-focus printed background really makes these stand out from other abstract works. Thanks for sharing!

  2. I love mixed media, particularly when there is a collage element - collage has always been my favourite style of art, as odd as that may be. There is something truly remarkable about someone who can elevate a kindergarten craft to true art - David Mramor clearly has that down!

  4. Wow! These are amazing! I loved doing mixed media paintings in college. Mine didn't exactly turn out anything like this but it's fun to mix up the mediums and see what appears!
