Summer Hair Ideas

summer hair

As the temperatures rise, the first thing I normally do is pull my hair back in a simple ponytail. So I've been on the lookout for some (relatively) easy tutorials. I really need more hair styling skills – I’m pretty bad at it!  And since I'm obsessed with braids, I'm hoping to try some of these soon!

GET THE HOW-TO:
Messy Side Braid // Ponytail Twist // High Braided Bun
Braided Crown // French Braided Bun
Half Braided Ponytail // Low Side Fishtail // Not Just A Pony

  1. Oh gosh! I have this same post planned for a few weeks from now. Eek! Great minds think alike? My favorite of these is the braided crown. So adorable!

  2. Cut it all off! I'm a short hair girl. For life. However, this Michigan humidity thing makes me just want to throw on a ball cap and say screw it. Can't wear ball caps to the office though. Lame.

  6. These are all making me wish I didn't just cut my hair last week! ;) Fishtail braids are my favorite - they're so chic. And I love the idea of a bow under a high bun.

  11. The high-braided bun is such a fun idea! I usually do a french braid with a bun at the nape of my neck - I like this twist.
