A Cozy Weekend

creative index blog

So we had a very low-key and cozy weekend! Brandon had to work and I've been feeling under the weather, so our weekend consisted of a whole lot of nothing! We cranked up the thermostat (wish we had a fireplace!) and were couch potatoes all weekend. We did take Bosco to the groomers to get a haircut, that's why he's wearing his little sweater. He hates it, but it was cold out there for an almost naked pup!

Tell people in the South there's a chance for snow, and the shelves will be bare.
Milk, bread, eggs, bananas.... all gone! I picked up some coffee and ice cream... the real essentials people! Plus I knew it wasn't going to be that bad!

As for Valentine's Day, we don't really go over the top. We never have. Brandon definitely knows the way to my heart though! No fancy jewelry for this girl! I'll take sweets and a love note any day! Tonight he's making me his "famous" spaghetti dinner. It's only famous because it's the only thing he knows how to make. lol Aren't I lucky?! (I mean that in the most loving and sarcastic sort of way!) ;)

Hope everyone had a great weekend! Is it freezing in your neck of the woods?
How was Valentine's Day? Do anything special or was is low-key?

  1. In NYC people are either really blasé or they just panic and buy everything in sight when there's a snow warning. We had crazy cold weather over the weekend so we stayed in and had dumplings.

  2. Glad you had a good, low-key weekend - those are the best! Lucky for us over here in the Northwest, we're having a burst of sunshine #sunglasses But don't get me wrong, we do get our fair share of rain 266 days of the year out here. Hope you're feeling better - I was down all last week [thanks to my EmergenC]

  4. Aw, Bosco! <3 & those pink tulips are gorg!

We had a very low-key weekend too. I was a bit under the weather too, so I slept most of the weekend, lol! There were too many events going around us -- the LA marathon, Valentine's Day, the 3-day weekend aka the freeway jam, etc. -- so maybe it was meant to be for us to stay home.
