Guys, I'm beyond happy to share this talented artist with you.

Located in New York City, artist Maya Klauber of WaterCollars creates custom watercolor and mixed media portraits of your beloved pet(s). Working from your favorite photo, Maya beautifully captures the personality of your pet to create a treasured keepsake. She even painted portrait of my little Bosco! I'm so in love and can't wait to find the perfect frame for it!

The idea for her business came naturally, as it combined her two greatest passions: making art and helping animals. She donates 20% of every portrait purchase to animal rescue!! And she doesn't just paint pups either.... cats, horses, even a mountain lion are among her collection of work! And when she receives a happy customers email or photo (like this one), it truly makes her heart happy!

I absolutely love Maya's work and passion for helping animals! Thank you for creating such beautiful and meaningful art and I will treasure my painting of Bosco for ever!

Wow, I love that portrait of Bosco :) I like how she used a very soft hues for the overall look, with a pop of color for the collar!
