Moodboard: Simple Feminine Chic |
I can't even describe how excited I was to work on this blog design. It's been in the works for a few months now, and I can't believe I haven't shared the moodboard yet. Feminine, chic, inspiring, and very simple.... this project was right up my alley! I'll be sharing more real soon, because the site just recently launched!! :)

If you have passion and love for what you do, along with hard work and dedication, anything is possible. There are going to be bumps along the way and discouraging days, but you just have to keep a positive attitude and keep believing in yourself and know that better days are ahead.

I recently came across the work of LA based artist Sarajo Frienden and was instantly smitten. The palette, textures and organic shapes are just so beautiful and inspiring. Her work instantly put a smile on my face.

Moodboard: Simple, Clean & Feminine |
Just wanted to share a moodboard for a current project I'm working on. It's for a style blogger who has a great eye for style and aesthetics. The tone for this project is simple, clean and feminine. We're using a neutral color palette (with a pop of color), a combo of modern and handwritten typography and we're keeping it light and airy with lots of white space. I can't wait to show you the finished design!

Happy Friday! Just a little Winter/Holiday inspiration for your weekend!
I never thought I would say this... but I actually miss the snow! Just a little bit! ;) It just doesn't feel like Christmas in these parts. Hoping to feel more festive this weekend.... breaking out the decorations and the Christmas music will be blasting!

I love this quote for so many reasons.
Lately, I've been feeling like I'm not reaching high enough. I've been worrying too much about what other people might think (plus I've been comparing myself to other more "successful" bloggers/designers) and it's messing with my head... and creative potential.
I need to raise the bar and be more confident in my style/work/brand. It's time to stop comparing and start doing. I need to follow my ideas and dreams and see where they take me....
Never stepping out of my comfort zone or trying something new, is and will be a HUGE failure.

I cannot stop staring at these gorgeous mixed media works by Suzanne McClelland. They are definitely keeping me inspired on this rainy (and chilly!) Tuesday afternoon. She has several different collections, but I'm absolutely loving this one! I love the dark colors!

Hello + Happy Labor Day! Hope you're all enjoying this long weekend! Can you believe it's September already?
Just wanted to share a few images that are inspiring me this week... I'm so excited to the Fall season this year. My first Summer in NC has definitely been a HOT one, so I'm ready for the cooler temps to arrive... and football, pumpkin lattes and sweater/boot weather! :)
